Bah, my original message was truncated! I could use some help figuring out how to test with various Tk versions. I have a Mac with OSX 10.8, and I've found the "IDLE and tkinter with Tcl/Tk on Mac OS X" page[1], but I'm still not sure how to actually go about installing and running IDLE with the different versions.
