Is that really necessary? Adjustable dividers like that have been a standard user interface element on desktop applications for a long time. I would expect most users to be surprised to find that it didn't adjust. And Tk, at least on the OS X ones I tried, provides a visual clue that the frame is adjustable by changing the cursor to a 2-headed arrow when mousing over the slider. Adding something to the help files is sufficient, I think. |
