Hello there
Yes, I am afraid the problem persists.
I have downloaded version 3.2.3 of python 32 bit.
In terminal in OSX 10.7.3, you can use the keys ALT + SHIFT and 7 to get
the \ but in the Idle application there is no way to do that.
