The patch looks good, but as written by Antoine: tests may need to be fixed. Is anyone motivated to "convert" removed crashers to unit tests? Not me. Crashers were only written to crash Python. New tests should be written instead.

Ok, it looks fair. The patch looks good, but as written by Antoine: tests may need to be fixed.
