After I recompiled my older revision the 'readline' module failed to build. So I guess this is not python-related issue, rather something to do with my system.

Python 2.7a4+
08:17:53 l0nwlf-MBP:python-svn(rev79372) $ ./python.exe
Python 2.7a4+ (trunk:79372, Apr 11 2010, 08:15:12)
[GCC 4.2.1 (Apple Inc. build 5646) (dot 1)] on darwin
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import readline
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
ImportError: No module named readline
I will try looking for the cause behind it. |
