A patch to make select calls EINTR-safe is attached, but: - there are many modules that suffer from the same problem, so maybe a fix at select level would be better - if not, it could be a good idea to add this EINTR-retry handler to a given module (signal, os?) so that every module doesn't have to reimplement it (I know that at least subprocess does have one). Thoughts ?
