I'm under Kubuntu 10.10 RC.
The same problem when I try to start Inkscape (after changed widget style to Raleigh in GTK+ Appearance in Kubuntu):

I suspected this was not MyPaints fault.
Alvaro, are you also using the Raleigh GTK theme?
Pavel, does the problem go away when you change to another theme?
No, I'm using QtCurve.
I have the same problem now. Actually for the first time program worked fine and then i saved my project in .ora extension and in that moment it crashes all the time. I try with reinstalling but didn't work. I am using MousePen but first time i started program MousePen worked just fine.
Sasa: Does the program crash when you save your image?
If yes, that is a different bug; please file a new bugreport.
@Jon I used one time Mypaint and it crashed when i saves my work. Next time i couldn't start Mypaint at all because it is crashing all the time. So i am not sure if it is because of of my saved work or because Mypaint has general problem with crashing on start up.
If MyPaint has the same output as shown here when run from a terminal, it is the same issue, and you should use the workarounds posted in the duplicatate bug or a bug linked from it. If not, please file a separate bugreport.
If you are able to reproduce your crashing-
