Hello, World!

This is my public notebook for learning in the open.
I write here about software systems, databases, programming languages, computer architecture, books, and the occasional reflective detour that helps the technical work make more sense. Some posts are polished essays. Some are field notes from whatever I am building, reading, debugging, or trying to understand next.
The common thread is curiosity with a bias toward construction: taking ideas apart, building small versions of them, and letting the details teach me what the abstractions hide.
