There is a python package dependancy on "rsa", this package has been marked as been archived, and there is no future plans for improvements, nor handing over developement to someone else. The latest version being 4.9.1. Whilst I don't fully understand the ramifications of rsa package to this, it would seem sensible to have a migration path or alternative solution in mind given no new updates to RSA will happen.
