The most recent implementation of the time interval generation strategy takes into account only spare time hours independently on the current day of the week.

Expected behavior
The interval generation strategy bears in mind weekends, public holidays, and vacation days. On weekends, generated time is not limited by evening and nights hours only. It also and might skip a couple days from time to time.
