I'd love to see some documentation or better support for android auto and carplay with nativescript. There does not seem to be any accessible nativescript resources on how to do this.

A very good example that I would be especially interested in would be to create an audio player. However, just having some simple documentation on creating a basic carplay and android auto app would still be very useful.

This feature was once in an old roadmap from 2018 or 2019 but dropped in 2020. It is not clear why. Perhaps it's not possible or time did not allow, I'm not sure. However, I think getting nativescript apps running in cars would be a fun avenue to pursue :)
