GNU Radio 4: Official Github Repository

We have been working hard getting GNU Radio 4 ready for an official release. Part of this endeavor has been restructuring and refactoring the repositories for future maintainability, better build and CI efficiency, and the flexibility to support different licensing models across the ecosystem. GNU Radio 4 is now organized around a super-repo builder capable of pulling together foundational projects such as the core runtime and key DSP libraries, modules containing both official and experimental blocks, and applications built on top of them.

EuGRD2026: Announce

The European GNU Radio Days will be held in Rennes, France, from November 16 to November 18, 2026. The event aims to bring together the European SDR community around scientific presentations, technical feedback, tutorials, demonstrations, educational materials for students, and discussions on the evolution of open radio technologies. This new edition of the European GNU Radio Days will focus on cybersecurity with SDR.

GNU Radio 4: Community Stewardship and the Road to 4.0

Today, GNU Radio is reaffirming that GNU Radio 4 will continue as an officially community-maintained release line under the GNU Radio project’s established governance structure. Development will proceed from the official GNU Radio 4 GitHub repository, which contains the MIT-licensed core code base, and we encourage users and contributors to follow and participate.
