2 Flymake API ¶

Flymake’s API supports the following use cases:

1. Changing the look and feel of the annotations produced by the different backends. See Customizing Flymake error types.
2. Adding a new buffer-checking backend. See Backend functions.
3. Writing extension to and process Flymake’s output. See Inspecting diagnostics.
