Introduction

2026年07月26日.
GNU 3DLDF optionally includes a MySQL database and commands for storing and retrieving data from it. The database may be used for storing and retrieving objects of the most of the commonly used types, e.g., points, paths, circles, rectangles, etc., but not for some of the more rarely used ones. For most of the types for which database functions have been implemented, the corresponding array and vector types may also be stored to and retrieved from the database.

In particular, the database is required for the new astronomy functions belonging to the package.
