Red Hat et Novell sont attaqués actuellement sur les brevets. 
Novell a un accord avec MS qui prétend le protéger et protéger ses clients. Cette attaque vide l'accord de ses promesses (au moins partiellement). 
Alors Novell se rattrape aux branches. 
 
Voilà que Novell nous dit que son accord avec MS couvre les programmes sous GPL v3 :
