Ce niveau d'investissement est le plus haut (silver, gold, platinium), ce qui illustre une volonté affichée de participer aux développements de Linux. C'est une bonne nouvelle, autant pour Linux en ayant un nouvel allié dans le domaine du «grand public et de l'informatique invisible» ; que pour la Fondation Linux, qui se voit renforcer dans sa position ; et pour Samsung, se donnant les moyens de peser plus, autant pour(/sur?) Android que pour des développements plus spécifiques.
