Batou est une poupée vivante.
 
Tout son corps, même ses bras et jambes, est entièrement fabriqué par l'Homme.
 
Seuls lui restent des portions de son cerveau
 
et le souvenir d'une femme.
 
 
Alors que la frontière entre hommes et machines
 
est devenue infiniment vague,
 
 
les hommes ont oublié qu'ils sont humains.
 
 
C'est l'histoire de la débauche d'un "ghost" solitaire,
 
qui cherche néanmoins à conserver son humanité.
 
 
Innocence...
 
C'est ce qu'est la vie.
 
 
(Innocence est la suite du film Ghost in the Shell.)
