Voilà, j'explique mon problème : 
Je voudrais utiliser Mercury1709 et j'ai téléchargé l'archive sans java (_noVM) car celle avec Java était trop lourde à mon goût (et être obligé de re-télécharger Mercury+Java à chaque nouvelle version, non merci). Vive le 56k ! De plus, je voudrais comprendre le problème ! 
 
Ensuite, j'ai installé une machine Java, gcj. Jusqu'ici pas de problème... 
Et là je lance le programme d'installation de Mercury et voilà ce qu'il me renvoie comme message d'erreur :

Est-ce LAX (l'installateur de Mercury ??) ou gcj qui déconne ?
