je suis en debian sid, j'ai rajouté mon imprimante dans cups, elle est détecté dessuite par contre dès que je cherche à imprimer avec même en root il me sort : client-error-not-possible 
Un ami m'a conseillé de tester avec hpoj, ça donne ça : 
*** Found "deskjet 3500" but failed to communicate with it! 
*** Elapsed time for this attempt was 0 second(s). 
*** Check syslog file for ptal-mlcd error messages. 
*** See hpoj documentation for troubleshooting information. 
 
& dans le syslog : 
Oct 20 00:12:25 GmlMobileLinux ptal-mlcd: ERROR at ExMgr.cpp:2566, dev=<mlc:usb:probe@/dev/usb/lp0>, pid=8558, e=11, t=1098223945 Raw (non-MLC/1284.4) mode is not currently supported. Use "-nomlcdot4" if you really want this, but it's not completely robust or bug-free. 
 
S'il vous plait j'ai vraiment besoin de cette ******** d'imprimante :)
