Every so often a rapper emerges from the streets and his authenticity and urgency connects with listeners. Enter Detroit native Tee Grizzley. His debut effort, My Moment, is packed with tales of out-of-town trips, robberies, federal trials, and all-too-real drug sales.
Tee was released from a Michigan jail in October 2016 after serving nearly three years for home invasion. The same day he was released, he recorded “First Day Out,” and when the video dropped in November, it attracted a wide audience. By December of 2016, Tee inked a deal with 300 Ent.
Veteran rapper Pusha T also praised Tee’s debut project on his Instagram page.

My Moment is feature-less with production by Sonny Digital and DJ Mustard. However, Helluva handles a bulk of the instrumentals.
