1. Per Brookville, the BL20GH’s and BL20G’s are all built on new frames, not recycled GP40 types as has been suggested elsewhere.
2. Units financed by Connecticut DOT and operated by Metro North. Purchased for use on MNCR’s New Haven, CT line and painted in former New Haven Railroad colors.
Notes:
A. Build date and serial number info provided by Brookville Equipment with my thanks. Build date appears to reflect actual delivery date, not build plate data.

1. Serial number and build date provided by Brookville Equipment. Many thanks for their support in this project.
Notes:
A. Built for New York MTA, probably for work train service. 401 and 402 were the first twin-genset CoGen locomotives built by Brookville.
B. According to Brookville, this unit was built on an all-new construction frame, but it rides on Flexicoil switcher trucks ala some of CN's GP7's. The flexicoil switcher trucks were selected for these units because of clearance issues.

1. Units moved one at a time by barge over to Staten Island. Interesting video of the units being unloaded by barge and moved to the rail is provided on Brookville’s website. (http://www.brookvilleequipment.com/Shippingmain1.html).

Notes:
A. Builder’s data provided by Kermit Geary, Jr. after an on-site check in Brookville, PA in Dec. 2008. Brookville shows a release date of Jan. 14, 2009.
