Ise shrine is made up of the Naiku, officially known as Kotai shrine, dedicated to the worship of Amaterasu Omikami, goddess of the sun, and the Geku, or Toyouke Omikami, the deity of agriculture, bestowing rice, food, clothing and shelter.
