Studies to be carried out on rail link to Faro Airport

The vice-president of national infrastructures company Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) has said a rail link to airport will be looked into, but said its viability is an "environmental issue" rather than a financial one.

He said studies are in the pipeline for extending the national rail network the airport.

Should it go ahead, the project would cost between 20ドル million and 25ドル million.
