Up Mountain Switchel has released Original Swizzle, a lightly carbonated take on its award-winning switchel recipe, in 12-ounce aluminum cans.
"This has been a top priority for our swizzle launch," says Ely Key, founder of Up Mountain Switchel. "The cans are very sustainable option that also allow for eye-catching design of our new brand and efficient transport.
The next generation of kombuchas may be drinking vinegars and
switchel, which is made from apple cider vinegar, fresh ginger and maple syrup, and then cut with water.
Inspired by
switchel, a recipe developed by farmers to quench thirst during the hottest days of the hay harvest season, Haymakers ciders, punches and teas are said to be made with simple ingredients such as ginger, honey, vinegar, and molasses.
