sheaflike TbP[O.sub.4] hierarchical architectures with different phase structures," Journal of Physical Chemistry C, vol.
A lamellar crystal morphology with
sheaflike lamellar arrangement is observed for 80 wt% PEO(200M) and a lamellar crystal morphology with grain aggregation is observed for 50 and 20 wt% blends.
Case 8 represents a patient with necrotizing Aspergillus niger pneumonia and lung infarction who was found at autopsy to have extensive deposition of brightly birefringent calcium oxalate crystals having diverse shapes, and focally aggregated into rosettes and wheat
sheaflike structures (Figures 8 through 10).
Juanitaite occurs at one occurrence as square crystal plates with rounded corners in
sheaflike subparallel aggregates and rosettes associated with conichalcite and mixite, scattered over fracture surfaces on limonitic matrix, and in another occurrence with connellite, tyrolite and azurite on quartz.
The well-defined
sheaflike spherulites with highly negative birefringence were observed for the neat PLLA and NC samples, while coarse-grained ones with weakly negative birefringence for the hybrids, especially for the S2 sample.
Their observation of
sheaflike growth coincides exactly with the schematic drawing of a solid sheaf in Fig.
Rutile, as prismatic-acicular crystals from a few millimeters to 3 cm long and a few microns thick, and as black, centimeter-size
sheaflike crystal aggregates, is found in the hanging wall of the talc-chlorite structure.
