A receipt /rɪ'siːt/ is a piece of paper that confirms that money or goods have been received.
We've got receipts for each thing we've bought.
2. 'recipe'
Don't use 'receipt' to refer to a set of instructions telling you how to cook something. The word you use is recipe /'resəpi/.
This is an old Polish recipe for beetroot soup.
