Under the changes, head of customers, communications and marketing Liz Grieve and the head of finance - who has yet to be determined as the current
post-holder has left the authority - will move a grade.
The problem with being the cabinet secretary for Transport, Infrastructure and Connectivity is that because of the longevity of major infrastructure projects, inevitably the
post-holder will seldom start a programme, nor indeed still be in the job upon its completion.
The appointment was agreed by full council on Tuesday after current
post-holder Chris Burns said he is to step down at the end of the year.
With an advertised salary of between PS29,301 - PS37,183, the
post-holder will sit within the university's counselling service, working with counsellors, mental health advisers and a mindfulness practitioner.
The
post-holder will have responsibility for maximising training and skills opportunities, building new, affordable housing and developing an improved transport network for West Yorkshire and Leeds City Region.
"Principally based at Buckingham Palace, the
post-holder will be required to travel to all royal residences," the advert states.
"Internally, the
post-holder has contact with members of the Royal family, their guests, all levels of household staff and employees at the private residences."
AN ADVERTISING campaign to appoint a director of regeneration for Birmingham will be launched today, almost four months after former
post-holder Clive Dutton quit the high-profile city council job.
A council spokesman said Helene Gray joined the chief executive's office this week on a 12 month secondment as Mr Reeves' PA, replacing the previous
post-holder Sally Hamilton.
Its last
post-holder, Robert Crawford, quit the post in September.
It will be two years in May since the last
post-holder moved on and that is a long time for a post at such a level to remain only temporarily filled.
