For measurement of malar height, a single reference point (intersection point of
midsagittal line with the intercanthal line) was taken and second point was taken at the maximum height of malar region as viewed from vertex view of the patient and distance was measured between these two points preoperatively and post operatively.
The endometrial thickness was reported as double-thickness measurement in
midsagittal view.
At 30 minutes before onset of EA, LPS was dissolved in endotoxin-free water to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/ml and was injected into the right lateral ventricle with a dosage of 250 [micro]g/kg using a microliter syringe (Hamilton, Reno, NV, USA) at the coordinates: 2.0 mm posterior to the bregma, 1.5 mm lateral to
midsagittal line, and 2.5 mm ventral from the skull surface [32].
All the X-rays were taken with the X-ray tube positioned at 165 cm from the film, and the
midsagittal plane of the subject's head was 15 cm from the film.
We measured the areas of the pontine base, the pontine tegmentum, the cerebellar vermis and the posterior fossa [Figure 4] on
midsagittal images demonstrating the cerebral aqueduct clearly from 7 SCA3/MJD patients.
The system light localizer, which shows the
midsagittal line, was also applied.
The x in this formula was defined as the least
midsagittal of the spinal cord of the fractured vertebra, and the y was calculated by the average of
midsagittal canal diameter of the adjacent vertebra, which was considered as the normal
midsagittal canal of the injured vertebral body.
Successive T1-weighted images (repetition time TR = 2.17 ms, echo time TE = 1.44 ms, flip angle 5[degrees], field of view 192 x 192 [mm.sup.2]) were acquired with an in-plane resolution of 1.5 x 1.5 [mm.sup.2] and a slice thickness of 10 mm in a
midsagittal, oblique coronal, and oblique axial orientation.
Aim of the study was to illustrate the normal
midsagittal lumbar lordosis in adult Egyptians, its morphology and values using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and to evaluate the role of lumbar spine segments "vertebrae and intervertebral discs" in its formation.
