These new results further support the neuroprotective properties of
intranasally delivered ST266 in mice with experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis -induced experimental optic neuritis.
For example, LACV is not neuroinvasive in adult mice after intraperitoneal inoculation but does cause disease in adult mice when inoculated intracranially or
intranasally (39,44,45).
Midazolam (3 mg/kg), midazolam-butorphanol (3 mg/kg for each drug), or sterile saline (0.9% NaCl) solution (control treatment) was administered
intranasally. Sedation quality was assessed at 3 time points by use of eye and body position; response to visual, auditory, and tactile stimulation; and response during manual restraint on the basis of eye position and struggling intensity.
The third poster also featured as one of eight posters selected to participate in an oral "data blitz session." This was a Phase 1, randomized crossover, double-blind, single-dose, active- and placebo-controlled study that compared the HAP and PK's of
intranasally administered, or IN, SDX and IN d-MPH HCl in recreational stimulant users with a history of intranasal stimulant use.
It is administered
intranasally and is intended to restore the normal physiologic activity of the Eustachian tube (ET).
The most likely first candidate is one of the enantiomers of ketamine, esketamine, which, because of higher binding affinity, can be dosed
intranasally rather than intravenously.
On the one hand, NPS has crucial functions in extinguishing anxiety and conditioned fear responses (3-5), and administration of NPS (both
intranasally and intracerebroventricularly) has anxiolytic properties (6-10).
It also can be administered orally,
intranasally, and intramuscularly.
Following the paraspinal injections, the remaining stem cells are provided intravenously which is in the vein in the arm, and
intranasally which is within the nose.
We hypothesized that one dose of 40IU of insulin administered
intranasally will lead to an increase in LH concentrations.
