* The Wadhrai
granitoid body of the NPIC is an extension of the Neoproterozoic Malani Igneous Suite of western Rajasthan.
Discussion on the Relationship between
Granitoid and Gold Mineralization in the Zhaoye Gold Belt, Shandong Province (in Chinese with English abstract).
According to recent data, they are coeval with the main SCS
granitoid intrusions (~308-298 Ma; Zeck et al., 2007; Diaz-Alvarado et al., 2011; Orejana et al., 2012).
381-370 Ma), a peraluminous
granitoid suite that underlies approximately half of southern Nova Scotia (McKenzie and Clarke 1975; Reynolds et al.
At Chalk River and Whiteshell, in Ontario and Manitoba respectively,
granitoid rocks are also present (Douglas 1970) but the numbers of spent fuel bundles in temporary storage are low relative to the other generating stations (Table 1).
The anorogenic rock bodies in the Estonian crystalline basement include the huge composite Riga batholith (250 km x 230 km in subsurface area under the Gulf of Riga and Kurzeme Peninsula in NW Latvia), as well as at least five minor
granitoid stocks (Naissaare, Marjamaa and its Kloostri satellite, Taebla, Neeme, and Ereda) in northern Estonia and the quartz monzodioritic Abja stock in southwestern Estonia (Fig.
(2000a) supposed that mafic rocks of K-rich
granitoid group and lamprophyre group of the Moldanubian Zone suggest a heterogeneous lithospheric mantle source, which was possibly contaminated by crustal components during pre-Variscan subduction.
The country rock is
granitoid, containing quartz, plagioclase feldspar, orthoclase, homblende and biotite.
The high-grade and low grade metamorphic zones are separated by a vast area of
granitoid and metavolcanic rocks.
There is an association with main fault systems that likely acted as brittle-ductile shear systems of transpressional to transtensional character at the time of
granitoid intrusion and mineralization (Pollard, 2000).
Logrosan zircons show negative Eu anomalies (Eu/ Eu*<0.3) and relatively high REE (647-2435 ppm), Nb (1.17-5.24 ppm), Ta (0.31-3.92 ppm), Sc (157-939 ppm) and Hf (7631-11800 ppm) contents, characteristic of zircon from
granitoid rocks (Hoskin and Schaltegger, 2003; Belousova et al., 2002) (Table 3).
