Nanocomposite dielectric materials include inorganic nanoparticles in a polymer base, which together have high
dielectric constants due in part to the inorganic nanoparticles while retaining much of the processability of the base polymer.
Therefore, it is possible to calculate
dielectric constants for liquid paints from their formulas and knowledge of the [epslion] values of the components.
Analysis of the Simulated
Dielectric Constants. The soil soluble salt in the groundwater can rise to the surface as water moves through capillary action in the soil.
In their model, the authors did not consider the fringing filed effect on the antenna parameters and the effect of radius of curvature on effective
dielectric constants.
Corresponding
dielectric constants were also calculated based upon Maxwell's rule of mixtures [31] (see, (3)) and Lichtenecker's logarithmic mixing model [32](see(4)).
Simulated reflection coefficients of homogeneous and non-homogeneous
dielectric constants are shown in Table 1.
From the sensor's viewpoint, the dependency of the read range on EM properties of CMs near or in contact with tags can be employed as an approach to determining quality of CMs through their estimated
dielectric constants. RF tag performance is affected by many factors, including EM properties of objects near or in contact with tags [10, 11].

First, the experiment was performed using a series of fluids of known relative
dielectric constants, then numerical simulations were carried out and confirmed by soil sample test with varying operating frequencies and probe lengths.
Using proprietary substrates that feature
dielectric constants between 4 and 152, and a dielectric loss tangent as low as 0.00015 customers can specify microwave filters and high Q resonators.
