IHC staining with CD5, CD20, and
cyclin D confirmed the diagnosis of MCL.

Among CDK2 inhibitors those with purine-based structures (NU6140 and its derivatives) have shown higher specificity to inhibit CDK2 interaction with
cyclin A compared to other interactions (CDK1/cyclin B, CDK4/cyclin D, CDK5/p25, and CDK7/cyclin H) [11, 12].
"In addition to its role in regulating the cell cycle,
cyclin D1 induces Dicer and thereby promotes the maturation of miRNA," lead researcher Richard Pestell, M.D., Ph.D., Director of the Kimmel Cancer Center at Thomas Jefferson University and Chair of the Department of Cancer Biology, said.

Cyclin A,
Cyclin E1, CDK2,
Cyclin D1, and CDK4).
The expressions of
cyclin D1 and Bcl-xL were detected both at the mRNA level by real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and at the protein level by Western blotting.
Spermine ingestion significantly increased the gene expressions of
cyclin A2 (Group SP-3 d vs Group Con-3 d; Group SP-6 d vs Group Con-6 d; Group SP-9 d vs Group Con-9 d) but markedly decreased mRNA expressions of p21 (Group SP-6 d vs Group Con-6 d; Group SP-9 d vs Group Con-9 d),
cyclin D3 (Group SP-6 d vs Group Con-6 d), and
cyclin E2 (Group SP-6 d vs Group Con-6 d; p<0.05).
