cargo door here on Monday morning, causing great inconvenience to the passengers.
The cargo plane is equipped with a large
cargo door that allows for a load of up to seven LD3 (unit load device measurement) air cargo containers.
The ATR freighter is equipped with a Large
Cargo Door (LCD), allowing a load of up to seven (7) Ld3air cargo containers, or five (5) PBJ pallets.
The Skytrain differed from the DC--3 as the Skytrain was equipped with a
cargo door, a hoist attachment, and strengthened floor.
A press release of PIA said here on Tuesday that notice of penalty has also been issued to the ground handling agent in Paris for delay in
cargo door closure after the removal of jetty, due to which suffocation developed in the flight creating nausea and discomfort to the passengers especially to an infant reportedly at Paris airport on August 3.
