This system is simplified by replacing the fixed joint for a revolute joint between the
bell crank and the chassis and a torque in opposition to its motion as a function of the torsion stiffness of the bar and the turn of the
bell crank.
We also noticed that the FIT we had replaced a week ago once again was rubbing the
bell crank that sits on the inboard side of the FIT.

The left pulley support (p/n 2613083-1) web below the floor at FS 120.0 and butt line 10.0 cracked, from the left elevator
bell crank mount bolt access hole to the end of the web.
During a routine inspection, a rudder cable (p/n CA13190) was found worn with broken strands where it exits the (guide) tube (p/n 157727) about two inches forward of the rudder
bell crank. This is approximately on the rudder hinge line.
Inspection revealed the rod end under the pilot's floor connecting the retract rod to the
bell crank separated, causing the nose gear to become disconnected from the landing gear transmission.
