Rivers with partly or completely external sources include the Niger, Senegal, Orange, Limpopo, Shebeli, and Awash in Africa; the Colorado, the Great Salt Lake River, the Rio Grande, and the San Joaquin River in North America; the Salado, Colorado, Negro, Chubut, Deseado, Santa Cruz, and Gallegos rivers in South America; the Yellow (Huanghe), Amu Darya (or Oxus), Syr Dar'ya, Euphrates, and Tigris in Asia; and the Gascoyne, Darling, and Murray in Australia.
