Rahu said keeping in liu of the shortage of water, Sindh Govt was constructing 1650 water courses to meet such shortage adding that the aim of the meeting was to resolve the issues jointly and such meetings to be held every month and officials to be asked about performance and progress of their concerned departments.

Rahu said that stunting is a great challenge in Sindh.

Rahu said that Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah during his visit to Badin few days back had also praised the efforts making the foolproof measures made by district administration in Badin and towns and areas of the district.

"Mango is the king of all fruits whose production is higher in Sindh than other provinces," said Rahu.

Rahu in a press statement issued here on Wednesday claimed that with the improvement of water flows at Kotri Barrage most of the tail-end areas were being provided with ample water both for crop cultivation and drinking purposes without any discrimination.

Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho (Health, Population Welfare), Seth Hariram Kishorilal (Minorities Affairs, Social Welfare and Prisons), Saeed Ghani (Local Government, Public Health Engineering, Rural Development and Katchi Abadies), Mohammad Ismail Rahu (Agriculture, Supply and Prices), Mir Shabbir Ali Bijarani (Mines and Mineral Development), Makhdoom Mehboobuz Zaman (Revenue and Relief), Syed Sardar Ali Shah (Education, Culture, Tourism and Antiquities) and Shehla Raza (Women Development) form the group of newly appointed ministers.

Shabbir Bijarani, Hari Ram Kishori, Ismail Rahu, Azra Pechuho, Makhdoom Mehboob, former culture minister Sardar Shah, and former Sindh Assembly deputy speaker Shehla Raza are also set to take the oath.

A delegation led by President Pakistan Muslim League (N) Sindh Ismail Rahu met Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and discussed matters of mutual interest party affairs and overall situation of the country.
