1.
a. A member of one of the largest subgroups of the Hmong. Many Hmong Daw of Laos emigrated to the United States after the Vietnam War.
b. A person of Hmong Daw ancestry.
2. The dialect of Hmong spoken by the Hmong Daw. In all senses also called Hmong, White Hmong.
