Tissue loss led to reduced activity in most species studied, except for the spionid Rhynchospio
glutaeus, which switches to an alternative feeding mode following palp loss (Lindsay and Woodin, 1995), and Pseudopolydora kempi, which becomes more active following the loss of one palp, perhaps to compensate for lost feeding efficiency, but becomes less active following loss of both palps (Lindsay and Woodin, 1992).
Tom Aitchison, of Annan, suggests the following: #The love interest, played by Jennifer Lopez:
Glutaeus Maximus#A politician:Yappus Crappus #An ageing playboy: Dickus Droopus #A troublesome youth Asbos.
The macro-fauna used were three species of spionid polychaete (Spio sp., Rhynchospio
glutaeus, and Pygospio elegans) and a tellinid bivalve (Macoma nasuta).
