Most specimens from the Ninase Member, except for one, are similar to Favosites jaaniensis Sokolov, which has an average corallite diameter of 1.7-4.0 mm and corallite wall thickness of 0.05-0.07 mm, sometimes 0.1 mm.
Favosites jaaniensis is possibly synonymous with Paleofavosites secundus because their characters varied with the environment.
