Procurement: India And The Great Hunger

September 12, 2011: India recently revealed that during the last seven years, it has bought 7ドル.8 billion worth of American weapons. During that period, India has been importing 3ドル-4 billion of weapons a year. India imports 70 percent (in terms of spending) of its weapons and Russia has traditionally provided most of those imports. India is currently the largest importer of arms in the world (followed by China.) The biggest exporters are the United States, Russia and Germany. India is currently spending 39ドル billion a year on defense.
