Currently city, sports ministry and club are talking. Who needs what? What do you think. What do you prefer etc.

BTW construction will be like at Spurts stadiums. Stadium will be built at the north of the old one.

I don't think that the quality will be very high. Maybe a lil bit better than Kayseri

Yes, 1st tier is very steep.
Don't know why, but looks like Turks love steep stands :)

(estimated
Sükrü Saracoglu
1: ~25°
2: ~34-36°)

Türk Telekom Arena:
1: 24°
2: 35°

Kadir Has:
1: 30°
2: 34°

This one:
1: 28°
2: 35°

Yes, fans of Bursa are angry because of the smaller 2nd tier.
34,750 is really too small for Bursa
40-45k would have been better.
But as you can see no space.

If it's possible to expand to 40k+ then why don't they just build it bigger now and forget about later developments! :D

I absolutely love this project, but it's just way too small :(

The New Bursa Stadium is an integral part of the Culture Park located in the heart of Bursa. The existing Bursa stadium and adjacent buildings will be torn down completely to create enough space for the New Bursa Stadium to be located at the same spot.

The 30,000 seat stadium and its concourses with its cafeterias will be fully covered by a roof structure of hexagons, which will allow a smoothly filtered daylight to seep through. The hexagonal figures of historic Islamic art in the green mosque of Bursa inspired the structure of the stadium’s roof.

This stadium is not only a sporting venue – it marks a new gathering place for the locals at the heart of their city.

The stadium and the surrounding park are well connected to the public transport system through metro, tram and buses. Also, the city centre is easily accessible by foot. The whole concept for the location marks an achievement in sustainable development for the city and is certain to improve the quality of life in Bursa for all residents.

I prefer it to the other one...it looks like one of the tiers has been made into a single, massive tier, while the other sides still have two? Bit like Liverpool's "Kop" end...?

Maybe I'm seeing things though :D
