I am glad to join this monthly event. Thank you.
Sorry I couldn't spend more time on the air. But did make a few contacts and had fun. 73 & God bless.
KA3LOCOnly had a little free time. Ran my 25 year old Small Wonder Labs DSW-40 at a mighty 3 watts. Will be using it and its 20 meter brother for the NAQCC challenge this month.
AK3XDouble whammy: I forgot September has 30 days, not 31 - the SSS was half over before I realized the date! On top of that I am involved in massive hurricane recovery efforts; no power for 5 days; 1000 feet of busted horse fence; trees on driveway. Despite challenges, worked 5. Will do better next month! // Dave W1DV
Started out slow on Monday night but more stations showed up as the night progressed. I was surprised to work PF6SKCC on 40 meters. Great conditions on 40 and fun as always. See you next month. 73 Neal
Not much time to operate, but made the most of nice DX openings on 10 and 12 meters. Hope this continues through the fall. Thanks to all. Best 73, George
Thank You for the Oct SSS QSO's.
GL and 73, Larry
Another great CW opportunity to get on the air. Had a nice long chat with an op who had been off the air for a spell and another long chat with an old friend. The KX3 feeding the KPA500 to 180w certainly helped. C U next month .... 73 steve
NQ8TSlow this month, did get 2 nice QSO's. Have fun and keep pounding brass.
Heard quite a bit of activity, but most was out of reach with low power / wire antenna in WA. Sked Page very useful -- found someone looking for ragchews on the West Coast, which is also what I have been looking for!
