Deal of the Day: system for 140ドル & cases for cheap

For those no interested in picking up a new system, amazon.com is offering some nice deals on PSP cases. Sony's official travel case is going for less than 10,ドル and the popular PlayGear Pocket is going for 13ドル. While I find the hard cases to be too bulky for my tastes, it appears they're considered pretty standard fare by the PSP community.

oh man, 139 is such a sweet price point. if all the stores start to offer rebates like this, don't be surprise PSP pulls even with DS in sales number (especially when a string of good games come out)
I would say. hardware wise. PSP at 139 vs DS at 129, PSP is undersold.
but you won't hear me complaining. ;)

what did you do Colin? Robbed Future Shop? lmao, what store did you get it from and what firmware? I want to get one for my girlfriend so we can play some GameShare.
Not sure how to spread the words, frankly, i don't really know a lot of people in US in need of a PSP

I don't think this story is "digg-able"
but speaking of that hardshell case, I have it and NEVER used it, it almost double my PSP size.

@Kingofwale...
Zellers had it on for 3 days 3 weeks ago.
149ドル.99 with the purchase of ANY Ubisoft title (bought King Kong for 9ドル.99)
160ドル-10% for first purchase on a Zellers card (since destroyed!) is 144ドル CDN = 129ドル.95 USD including a crappy game!
If you are bargain hunter in Canada use redflagdeals.ca specifically the hot deals forum...its great! Picked up a GB Micro for 29ドル when they were blowing them out at Real Canadian SS not to long ago too.
BTW Field Commander is on at BB for 9ドル.99 this week.

According to VG (so taken with a grain of salt)
For the US for the Week ending:
March 4 44k
March 18 43k
This is the week we saw reports that stores wanted a price drop...so...people start waiting and you see a drop in sales for the next two weeks
March 25 38k
April 01 37k
Price gets reduced on April 3rd and voila!
April 08 50k
April 15 62k
April 22 52k

I find VG's number quite weird. if you click on "World" and then "Hardware", you can see that up to Sept 06, 22million PSP were sold
and they have sold minus 1 million to this day. yeah, weird
Collin, wow, and here I am thinking I'm a good shopper. lol
I need homebrew mainly because I am hopeing one day the community can come up with some kind of PS2 port thing. Oh, and I do it to save load time and battery life. and frankly, i don't have the space to bring 3 UMD with me at all time.
if you see another sale like that, please let us Canadian know please? I would love to get a second PSP. Thanks

Regarding sales (@kingofwale) - as of Sept '06 22 million PSP's were *shipped* ... as of NOW 21 million are *sold*. That speaks to the inventory situation, and explains why Sony *shipped* 10,000 systems in Q4 of last year ... because in the tight holiday season retailers don't want excess of something they already have. That is not a 'shot' at the PSP, as 21 million is an amazing amount of systems by anyone's math!
This is a great deal - if you can find a Sam Goody (all closed in my area, but then, I don't need another PSP)
