Kenneth Wang has been confirmed as a member of Parliament after the expulsion of Donna Awatere Huata.

Mr Wang was number 10 on Act's list at the last election, when the party secured nine seats.

He has been waiting to enter the House since the Act caucus expelled Mrs Awatere Huata last December.

Mr Wang, 49, the country's first male Chinese MP, is managing director of marketing and advertising agency Brandworks and was a founding member of Act's Asian chapter.
