Division 2
Chatham won Division 2 with Aylesford Paper Mills Reserves runners-up. The other teams playing in the section were Borstal, Canterbury Amateurs, Deal Town, Depot Battalion Royal Engineers (Chatham), Gravesend United, R.A.F. (Eastchurch), Training Battalion Royal Engineers (Chatham) and Whitstable.
There is no record of there having been a Division 2 during the 1935-36 or 1936-37 seasons, in which Northfleet United took the title on goal average to complete a hat-trick of championship successes. The second tier was in operation in the 1937-38 season, when Margate interrupted Northfleet’s title-winning run, but United returned to claim the crown in 1939, a full record for which season has been traced for Division 2.

Like most leagues in the country, the Kent League was suspended in September 1939 because of the outbreak of the Second World War.
