Welcome to the LinuxFocus July/August 2002
issue
June and July are traditionally months where not much Linux development
happens.
Apart from football (soccer for readers from the US) there is
not news. Despite this we have still a very nice
summer issue for you. Enjoy reading.

The LinuxFocus Tip
Removing the damm trash can from KDE
In KDE 3 it is now possible to remove the "Trash" from the
Desktop!
- Delete the ~/KDesktop/Trash directory
- Set KDE Control Center->Look &
Feel->Desktop->Paths->Trash to /dev/null and see
complain that you don't own it.
- Restart KDE.
Trash won't work because you don't own /dev/null.
Enjoy a wonderful clean desktop ;-)
