2. Objectives

1. To check if the Follow-up to Voluntary Action Plan on Environment (Section on Global Warming) is properly done from the viewpoint of a third party, and to evaluate its transparency and credibility.

2. To recommend improvement in the Follow-up to Voluntary Action Plan on Environment (Section on Global Warming) so as to contribute to increase in its transparency and credibility.

3. Activities

1. To evaluate if the participating industries have properly collected, calculated and reported data to the secretariat of Keidanren.

2. To evaluate if the secretariat have properly calculated the data received.

3. To recommend improvement in the Follow-up system necessary for increasing its transparency and credibility.
