Summary: With increasing public concerns about electromagnetic fields exposure and rapid expansion of telecommunication networks, some countries have implemented public safety zones compliance distances around areas such as schools, hospitals and private residences. This technical report will propose a study on public safety zones as regulatory measures for EMF exposure. While such measures address public concerns, they can hinder network performance and deployment. Building on ITU-T Supplement 14, the study aims to find a balanced approach that protects public health without limiting network development and deployment.
