The Department of Mechanical and Biofunctional Systems covers mechanical, precision, and ocean engineering, which deal with integrated knowledge derived from a wide range of fields. The department conducts not only fundamental researches on thermal science, fluidics, dynamical systems, manufacturing and bioengineering, but also applied researches for the novel devices and systems in collaboration with industrial partners.
