The International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) is a global organization dedicated to promoting sports for athletes with visual impairments. Founded in 1981, IBSA governs sports like goalball, blind football, and judo, while fostering inclusion, equal opportunity, and international competition for blind and visually impaired athletes.
In IBSA we believe sport is one of the best ways to promote mainstreaming and integration in society for people with a visual impairment. Sport can help people overcome their disability by boosting their self-esteem and their ability to overcome adversity.
